Shailen Jasani MA VetMB MRCVS DipACVECC is a small animal Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) specialist with extensive clinical experience in both referral and non-referral/first opinion environments. He also has considerable teaching experience. He is the Founder, CEO and Clinical Director of The Ralph, a multidisciplinary specialist small animal referral hospital with an ECC service and an in-house affiliated charity. The hospital is due to open in Marlow, south-east England in 2018. Shailen has a daily audio podcast on veterinary entrepreneurship called The Shailen Jasani Chronicles. Shailen published a Small Animal Emergency Medicine App in October 2015. Shailen is the sole author of a book on Small Animal Emergency Medicine. He set up Veterinary ECC Small Talk, an online veterinary community He founded The Ralph Site, a non-profit pet bereavement support resource. Shailen also created an online directory of Veterinary Free Open Access Medical Education resources and is involved in electronic clinical data capture.
